Camping FAQs

No. Golf carts, ATVs and Dirt Bikes are not allowed in the campground. Gunstock Campground maintains a family-friendly environment for children to ride bikes, walk and run safely.

Cats and dogs are welcome to the Gunstock Campground as long as you provide a current rabies certificate. Rabies tags are not valid proof of current vaccination. Two pets are included in the rate per site with a three-pet maximum per site, subject to approval of Campground management and an additional $5 fee per night.

Pets are not allowed in our cabins.

 

Yes. However, these guests must be registered with the Camp Store and a $5 fee applies for all day visitors, and an $8 fee applies for overnight guests. The number of people (guests and visitors) cannot exceed the occupancy limits for each site. 

All day visitors are welcome to stay until 10 p.m.

 

Yes, but only at our Pavilion. It is spotty everywhere else. Guests can access Wi-Fi by our Main Lodge and at the Barrel Bar & Grille in the Stockade Lodge.

Pricing is based on occupancy of 5 guests comprised of two adults and three children or four adults and no children. All sites incur an additional charge of $8 per night for more than two adults on one site.

Adults = 18 years old and up.

Deluxe Family Sites allow for a total of eight guests with a maximum of four adults and four children. These are sites 278 and 279. They are ideal for families camping with grandparents or two families camping together. These sites are subject to the additional fees for adults of $8 per night over two adults.

Each site may have up to two vehicles. Any additional vehicle may park behind the Camp Store in our overflow lot.

Yes, we allow campers to stay for up to 14 days during one visit. Guests may re-book other stays after a separation of at least five days from the campground.

We have a heated swimming pool, hiking and biking trails, a playground, dog park, a well-stocked camp store, yurt for inside activities, fishing pond, activities and events in the campground and at our main resort. Every Saturday beginning the Fourth of July Week, we feature a kids  craft, ice cream social, and an outdoor movie. Please see our events calendar for details. 

Our main resort features an Adventure Park that includes an aerial treetop adventure course, zipline tours, a mountain coaster, and a scenic chairlift ride to the summit. All campers receive discount vouchers for Gunstock s Adventure Park. There is also a full-service restaurant, Barrel Bar & Grill, with live music on weekends. 

In addition, we are located in the heart of the Lakes Region with lots to do, from concerts at the BankNH Pavilion, attractions, beaches, boating, the Weirs, and so much more.

Cancellations 14 or more days prior to your check-in day = $10 Fee. Balance refunded.

Cancellations between 13 days and 2 days before check-in day = $29 Fee. Balance as credit only.

Cancellations 24 hours prior to check-in day = No refund and no credit.

Check-in starts at 1p.m.

In some instances, early check-in may be available for an additional $25. Please check with the Camp Store.

There are no check-ins after 9 p.m. and no credit issued if you are unable to arrive by 9 p.m. Please call the Camp Store (603-737-4355) during normal operating hours if you are arriving after 6 p.m. (Link of Camp Store Hours) /summer/camping/camp-store/

Check-out is 11 a.m.

A $25 late fee is assessed for sites not vacated by 11 a.m. Please call the Camp Store if you are waiting to use a Dump Station prior to check-out.
